BIKE CRASH INJURES TWO IN LOS ANGELES
A motorist was charged with two felony counts each of reckless driving causing injury and battery with serious bodily injury when he braked hard in front of two cyclists. The two cyclists were riding downhill on Mandeville Canyon road when they heard an Infiniti sedan honking at them. Immediately, one of the cyclists pulled ahead of the other cyclist and yelled profanity at the driver. The driver then slammed on his brakes and forced the two cyclists to crash into his car. One of the cyclists smashed through the sedan’s rear window and broke his nose, teeth, and had multiple cuts on his face. The other cyclist needs shoulder surgery.
