CAR STRIKES TRAIN NEAR DOWNTOWN LA
A woman suffered minor injuries when she turned her car in front of an oncoming train in downtown Los Angeles. The collision took place near the Blue Line’s Grand Avenue station, and as a result the woman was transported to the California Hospital Medical Center. The train was cleared from the scene and was moved to an off-track area for further examinations. The incident occurred about 6:40 am at 219 W. Washington Blvd., near Olive Street.
