A man who was attacked by pit bulls in 2006 has received $7.25 million in a ruling by a judge in Missouri. The victim was mowing his lawn when the group of dogs, owned by a nearby resident, viciously assaulted him. The people named as defendants in the lawsuit included both the owners of the dogs and the owners of the property from which the dogs escaped. After the attack, the pit bulls were located and killed by police.
