While the officer was on a routine house call, Rocky seemed to be very friendly towards him. However, in an instant the dog changed. The pit bull became very agitated and suddenly lunged towards the officer. The officer tripped and fell over a tree branch and was unable to protect himself. Eventually, the owner pulled the pit bull off him and immediately dialed 911. Authorities arrived within minutes and shot drug filled darts at the pit bull that put him to sleep.
