DRIVER KILLED IN NEWPORT BEACH TRUCK CRASH

A Newport Beach resident died in a car crash when his truck struck a concrete divider on Superior Avenue. Authorities reported that the driver was traveling at a high speed and lost control over his vehicle. The truck in the accident was a 1974 Ford Bronco. It is very unsafe to be traveling at high speeds on the roads, because one has less control over his vehicle during that time. Vehicles like trucks are even more unsafe because of their size. If you or someone you know has been injured in a truck accident, please call us now at Greenberg & Rudman LLP at 1-800-ALAWPRO (1-800-252-9776) to get a free consultation with our experienced attorneys.

The accident occurred around 1:20 AM. After the driver hit the concrete divider, he was ejected from the vehicle and was declared dead at the scene. Authorities have also confirmed that the driver was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the accident. High speed crashes often happen at night because drivers can drive fast due to a lack of cars on the road. Because other drivers can be reckless, even the most cautious of drivers can get into accidents. Seatbelts are essential to one’s safety as evidenced by this unfortunate accident.
