Posted On: August 25, 2008 by The Rudman Law Firm, PLC

A pedestrian was walking on the 105 freeway late at night and was struck by a vehicle that did not see him. The pedestrian’s body was left alone on the freeway and was discovered around 5:30 am. It is estimated that many cars ran over the body between the time of the accident and the time when the body was found. Freeways are dangerous roads because of the fast speeds vehicles travel. Unfortunately many people are fatally injured when they get into a freeway accident. This case was no exception. If you or a loved one has been injured in a freeway accident, please call us now at Rudman Law Firm, PLC at 1-800-ALAWPRO (1-800-252-9776) to get a free consultation with our experienced attorneys.

After the accident, investigators closed down the freeway for approximately four hours. Authorities do not know why the man was walking across a freeway that late at night. It can be fatal to be hit by any moving car let alone a car that is driving more than sixty miles an hour. Unfortunately in this case, the car dragged the pedestrian for more than a mile and it is believed that that is what killed the pedestrian.
