SUV FREEWAY CRASH IN HACIENDA HEIGHTS RESULTS IN DEATHS

A sports utility vehicle crashed into a stalled minivan on the 60 freeway leaving two people dead. The fatal accident took place near South Hacienda Blvd. early in the morning. Freeway accidents are often fatal because of the fast speed cars travel on a freeway. Many people drive over the speed limit and when an accident results, the injuries are severe. If you or a loved one has been involved in a freeway accident, please call us now at Greenberg & Rudman LLP at 1-800-ALAWPRO (1-800-252-9776) to speak with our experienced attorneys.

The minivan was disabled in the freeway because it had already been in an accident. The driver of the SUV apparently did not know that the minivan was stalled and rammed it from behind. Passengers from the van were standing outside the vehicle when the SUV hit it. Unfortunately, one of the passengers was standing in front of the van when the crash took place. The impact of the crash thrust the van forward, hitting and killing the standing passenger. In addition, the driver of the SUV was thrown out of the car when it overturned after hitting the minivan. Unfortunately, when the SUV rolled, it landed on the driver and killed him instantly.
