METRO BLUE LINE TRAIN AND BUS COLLIDE IN LOS ANGELES

A Metro Blue Line train collided with a Metro bus in downtown Los Angeles. This accident caused injures to about 15 people. Fortunately, there were no fatalities. A train accident always has the potential to be a tragedy because of the speed and weight of the train. Many passengers are unable to brace themselves for the accident because they are not aware of what is going on outside the train. Buses are also unsafe when they get into accidents because the exterior of the bus does little to protect its passengers. Fortunately, in this case, there were no passengers in the bus at the time of the collision.
