The recalled necklace is making Los Angeles headlines now because Macy’s, one of its retailers, is refusing to release the names of the people who purchased it. The district attorney’s office has asked for the information in order to notify buyers of the lead hazard. The manufacturer, China-based Pecoware, and retailers, have been charged with false advertising. The jewelry was labeled “lead nickel free.” Macy’s sold the most necklaces of any other store. (1) cat with pink and silver rhinestones pendant on silver-colored chain
(2) lock, key & heart with pink jewels pendant on silver-colored chain
(3) silver colored heart enclosing a jeweled crown pendant on silver-colored chain
(4) silver key and lock with pink rhinestones pendant on silver-colored chain
