In Compton a Toyota Camry crashed into a liquor store, killing a customer and injuring two other bystanders. Officials are investigating why the driver drove through the front of the store in the middle of the day. The driver was expected to be released after questioning. In another fatal LA crash, a female driver plowed into a MacArthur Park statue. The driver died, and the three occupants are in critical condition at a local hospital. No cause for the early morning accident was known.
