The deadly Slim Jim plant blast happened at a factory in North Carolina. The force of the explosion caused a wall to blow out of the plant and made the roof collapse. As the smell of ammonia wafted through the air, rescue workers recovered the bodies of three workers. An additional 40 employees received injuries.
