COMMUTER TRAIN PEDESTRIAN DEATHS MOUNTING IN CALIFORNIA. CALL A LA PERSONAL INJURY ATTORNEY.

Shockingly, there have been three pedestrian deaths on Caltrain tracks in the month of May. The growing trend is disturbing and unfortunate. In two of the instances all of the warning systems seemed to have been working appropriately, but still a teenager and a senior citizen were struck and killed by commuter trains in separate incidents. Getting hurt or killed by a train may mean that the train company, train and track manufacturer, alert system maker and installer, municipality, train engineer, or other company are at fault. Don’t wait before getting the legal counsel you deserve. Call 1-800-ALAWPRO now to talk to a California train accident lawyer for free now.

While the three fatalities the past month occurred on Northern California Caltrain tracks, Southern California is no stranger to train crash deaths – including those of both pedestrians and commuter train passengers. Last year’s notorious Chatsworth crash appears to be in part the fault of the train engineer text messaging while driving the locomotive. The spate of recent deaths may give cause to reconsider whether the current warning system at railroad crossing is sufficient. METROLINK TRAIN KILLS BOY AT CROSSING. CALL TRAIN ACCIDENT LAWYERS OF RIVERSIDE NOW.

It seems that the number of train-related deaths in Southern California is never-ending. Train crashes can involved other trains, vehicles such as cars, trucks, buses, vans, motorcycles or bicycles, or pedestrians. When a smaller vehicle such as a car or a unprotected pedestrian are struck by a train, the results are often deadly. An eastbound Metrolink train struck a teenager attempting to cross the tracks while the crossing arm was down in Riverside. If you or a loved one has been injured or killed in a Southern California train-related accident, call 1-800-ALAWPRO to speak with a lawyer for free.

This most recent train fatality occurred in the morning at a Riverside RR crossing. The 14-year old victim and a friend stopped at the crossing arm as a westbound train passed. After the first passage, the boy apparently ignored the downed gates, warning bells and lights and went around the arm. Tragically, he was fatally struck by a train going the other way. METROLINK CRASH ENGINEER UNDER INVESTIGATION. TRAIN CRASH LAWYERS OF SO CAL ARE HERE FOR YOU NOW.

More disturbing evidence of inappropriate behavior by the Metrolink engineer of the doomed Chatsworth collision is surfacing. The accident that killed 25 and injured at least 130 people happened when the commuter train crashed into a Union Pacific freight train last year. In addition to having sent many text messages while driving the train, now investigators say that the engineer had a teenager in the train while moving and offered to have him operate it. Lawsuits have been filed against the engineer as well as his employers. Call 1-800-ALAWPRO now to speak with a Metro link train crash lawyer for free.

In new evidence, it appears that the engineer of the train, who died in the accident, sent more than 43 text messages the day of the crash. He also made at least 4 phone calls. Information from the text messages suggest that the engineer was planning to allow a teenage train fan to run the locomotive at some time in the near future. It is not clear whether he had already allowed the teen to operate active train machinery, but it is known that he allowed the boy into the train cab. The investigation strongly suggests that the engineer’s running of a red light caused the deadly crash.

OBSTRUCTED VIEW CAN CAUSE DEADLY TRAIN ACCIDENT. CALL RAIL CRASH LAWYERS OF LA COUNTY.

Train crashes have become an all too common occurrence in California. Commuter rail systems like Caltrain and Metrolink as well as Amtrak have had multiple fatal accidents in the past 12 months. One of the most dangerous spots for trains and railroad accidents are the crossings. With so many trains in use in populated areas, more and more accidents are occurring at RR crossings. If a train track crossing lacks appropriate signage, warning lights, alarm bells, and gates, or if it is not properly maintained for visibility, the results can be catastrophic. The family of a man killed when he was hit by an Amtrak train is suing the train company, railway company, as well as the city and county where deadly crash occurred. To learn more about train crashes and victim’s rights, visit our website at www.alawpro.com. Or if you or a loved one has been hurt or killed in a Los Angeles area railroad accident, call 1-800-ALAWPRO to speak with an attorney at no cost.

In the Amtrak lawsuit, the victim’s family is suing for negligence and wrongful death. The man was hit and killed by an Amtrak train in Las Vegas as he crossed the tracks. The railroad crossing had a sign but no other warning system. The suit claims that the victim’s sightline was blocked by overgrown vegetation. That crossing was the location of another death in January.

TEXTING IN MERTOLINK TRAIN CRASH KNOWN BY EMPLOYERS. CALL LOS ANGELES LAWYER FOR HELP NOW.

Text messaging is now illegal while driving in California. Prior to this law, train officials outlawed cell phone usage by railroad engineers completely. Still, it appears that the man driving the Metrolink train that killed more than 20 people in Chatsworth last year was texting while driving. Now lawyers for those killed and injured in the crash say that management received complaints regarding the engineer's text messaging. If you or a loved one were injured or killed in a train accident in California, call 1-800-ALAWPRO and speak with a lawyer at no cost.

The crash victims' attorneys states that the company responsible for employing the engineer had information regarding his forbidden cell phone usage and text messaging. Another employee allegedly complained about his phone use days and even hours before the deadly crash. Investigators found that the engineer sent "dozens of messages" while on duty the day of the crash. The employment company's policy forbids cell phone use by employees. It appears that the engineer missed a red light, which led to the fatal crash. The engineer was also killed in the crash, and victims have field a wrongful death and negligence suit against the engineer and the company which employed him.

HIT BY A TRAIN IN LA? CALL LOS ANGELES INJURY LAWYERS NOW.

Train accidents can affect, injure and kill passengers, drivers of other vehicle and even pedestrians. While there are many devices designed to protect people from trains on the move, accidents still happen. Faulty signal lights or gates, poorly marked railroad track areas, or a lack of crosswalk can lead to people crossing train tracks and getting hit. As multiple California train accidents have piled up in the past months, officials are urging people to use caution around trains. Nevertheless, two more train crash deaths occurred in Southern California this week. If you or a loved one has been hurt or killed in a Metrolink or Amtrak train crash in LA, call 1-800-ALAWPRO to speak with a lawyer for free.

Chatsworth was the location of last year's Metrolink disaster which killed dozens and injured hundreds when a passenger train collided with a freight train. Now Chatsworth is again the site of a train-related fatality. The grab-bar of a passing Amtrak train struck and killed a woman as she and her family were walking in a narrow train tunnel. The tunnel is an “off-limits area” for pedestrians. None of the 400 passengers on the San Diego-bound train was injured. To learn more about train accidents, and victim's rights, visit www.alawpro.com. In a separate incident, a woman was killed when a Metrolink train hit her in Burbank. As of the January 1, 2009, it will be illegal to write, send or read text messages while driving in California. METROLINK IS THIRD MOST DANGEROUS TRAIN LINE IN US. LA TRAIN ACCIDENT LAWYERS CAN HELP.

A new study by the Federal Railroad administration has cited Metrolink, Greater Los Angeles' rail line, as the third most dangerous train system in the entire country. California train accidents have been rampant in 2008. In September 26 people died in a collision involving a Metrolink trail and a Union Pacific train in Chatsworth. Northern California's Caltrain has also had numerous accidents and fatalities in the past few months. Train crashes can lead to death and serious injury such as spinal injuries, broken bones and burn injuries. To learn more about California rail accidents visit our website at www.alawpro.com. Have you or a loved one been injured or killed in a Metrolink or other CA train accident? Then get help from a lawyer to learn about your rights by calling 1-800-ALAWPRO for free.

The federal report found that Metrolink ranks third nationally, after New Jersey Transit and Metra in Chicago, in passenger fatalities. Metrolink is the 7th largest rail system in terms of number of riders. In the past decade, Metrolink disasters have been responsible for 99 deaths. Since 2002, about 66% of all of the nation's train passenger fatalities have occurred on Metrolink. In the past 6 years, 61 rail passengers have been killed in the US; 39 of those have been on Metrolink. In addition to the Chatsworth incident, Metrolink has had two other fatal crashes since its inception in 1991 – in Placentia in 2002 where 2 people died and 22 were injured, and in Glendale in 2005 where 11 people died and 100 were hurt. If you have been hurt in a rail disaster or accident, you may be entitled to monetary compensation for your losses.

METROLINK TRAIN DISASTER UPDATE: NO AUTOMATIC BRAKE SYSTEM. LOS ANGELES TRAIN ACCIDENT LAWYERS CAN HELP.

A new report by the Los Angeles Times reveals that Metrolink chose not to install an automatic brake system 20 years ago. Metrolink, LA's rail line, has been involved in 38 passenger deaths since 2008. Most recently, a Metrolink crash with a Union Pacific freight train in Chatsworth killed 25 people and wounded 135. Per the LA Times investigation, the auto brake system would have prevented the fatal crash. Been hurt in a Metrolink train accident? Call 1-800-LAWPRO to talk with a lawyer at no cost now.

The report alleges that the reason officials decided against the braking system was financial. The cost of the brakes is around $200 million, with tax payers responsible for the amount. Metrolink shares railroad tracks with a pair of major freight railroads, and to date, there have been two fatal accidents with freight trains. Sadly, it appears an automatic braking system could have been lifesaving.

The accident happened around 7:45 PM. Both the female driver and her passenger got out of the car in time and fortunately, there were no injuries to the passengers on the train.

CALTRAIN TRAIN STRIKES BIG RIG TRACTOR TRAILER IN BURLINGAME, CA

A southbound Caltrain struck a tractor trailer in Burlingame causing significant delays. Fortunately, only the driver of the tractor trailer suffered minor injuries and there were no train passengers injured. An accident with a train is often fatal because of the train’s velocity and weight. Also, a train has limited control because it can not steer away from its tracks. The only way for a train to avoid an accident is by slowing down. If you or a loved one has been injured in a train accident, please call us now at Greenberg & Rudman LLP at 1-800-ALAWPRO (1-800-252-9776) to get a free consultation with our experienced attorneys.

The accident happened around 7:30 AM. According to authorities, the tractor trailer truck had failed to clear the intersection and the train struck the rear end of the trailer. At the time of the accident, it seems as if all the bells, gates and signals were working properly at the intersection. Due to the accident, several trains were delayed and cancelled. Fortunately, there was no loss of life.

WHY YOU NEED AN EXPERIENCED LAWYER IF YOU WERE INVOLVED IN THE LOS ANGELES METROLINK CRASH

If you or a loved one was a victim of the Chatsworth, CA Metrolink train accident, or any train accident, you can collect damages. The responsible party, in this case Metrolink, owes you money for your pain and suffering. You might have already been contacted by Metrolink’s representatives to discuss money. These experts have been evaluating these types of claims for many years and it is important to recognize that their allegiance is not to you, it is to the insurance company or train company. They are paid to settle your claim for less than the real value. To protect yourself, you need attorney who is also experienced at evaluating these claims.

While it is true that you can settle this claim without the assistance of a knowledgeable attorney, you could potentially be giving up hundreds of thousands or millions of dollars if you incorrectly guess at what your claim is worth.

  • Do you really want to make an incorrect guess as to the real value of your case when so much money is at stake?

  • Do you really want to go up against the other side’s professional adjustor whose only job is to settle your case for less than true value, especially when it was their negligence that caused your loss?

  • Do you really want to settle your claim for less than what its worth, and possibly find out you have additional injuries, but be correctly informed that since you settled your claim is closed forever?

  • Do you know how much money you rightfully should recover for your past, present and future emotional distress?

If you show signs of a concussion, dizziness, vomiting, headaches, etc, you must see the proper doctors, have the proper tests, and receive just compensation for past and future injuries. Additionally, a person involved in a train crash will suffer emotional distress, possibly for years to come. You are entitled to recover monetary compensation for emotional distress. An attorney will make sure that you are seeing the right doctors and that all your injuries are properly being documented.

An experienced personal injury attorney can help you find the best doctors, file for social security, and generally make sure all your needs are being taken care of --- all while going up against Metrolink to get you the most money for your injuries as possible. If you or a loved one are a train wreck victim, call the law offices of Greenberg & Rudman LLP at 1-800-252-9776 (1-800-ALAWPRO) today. Your consultation is free and you will have the chance to speak with one of our knowledgeable employment attorneys to hear how we can help you. You can also visit our website at www.alawpro.com.

METRO BLUE LINE TRAIN AND BUS COLLIDE IN LOS ANGELES

A Metro Blue Line train collided with a Metro bus in downtown Los Angeles. This accident caused injures to about 15 people. Fortunately, there were no fatalities. A train accident always has the potential to be a tragedy because of the speed and weight of the train. Many passengers are unable to brace themselves for the accident because they are not aware of what is going on outside the train. Buses are also unsafe when they get into accidents because the exterior of the bus does little to protect its passengers. Fortunately, in this case, there were no passengers in the bus at the time of the collision. If you or a loved one has been injured by a vehicle, please call us now at Greenberg & Rudman LLP at 1-800-ALAWPRO (1-800-252-9776) to get a free consultation with our experienced attorneys.

The accident occurred near Washington Blvd. and Griffith Ave. and happened around 6:15 am. The train was traveling south to Long Beach when it crashed into the bus. All the people that were injured came from the train, which included the operator.

METROLINK TRAIN HEAD ON COLLISION WITH FREIGHT TRAIN IN SIMI VALLEY

The recent Metrolink tradgedy this weekend has rocked the residents of Simi Valley leaving them shocked and grief-stricken. Recent reports indicate that Metrolink is blaming their own engineer for the tragedy for failing to stop at a red light. Passengers who are regular commuters commented that the Metrolink train commonly stopped at the junction to wait for a Union Pacific freight train to continue down the tracks, but this time they did not wait. The fact that the Metrolink train ran the red light caused an alarm to be triggered in the line’s dispatch center located in Pomona. A Metrolink dispatcher tried calling the train’s engineer, but by then it was too late and the accident had already occurred.

METROLINK ADMITS FAULT IN DEADLY HEAD-ON COLLISION: TALK TO A LAWYER NOW

A spokesperson for Metrolink has admitted that the cause of Friday’s deadly head-on crash between a Metrolink commuter train and a freight train in Chatsworth was due to their engineer who failed to stop at a red light. The deadly crash occurred Friday, September 12th, 2008 at approximately 4:30pm in the Los Angeles suburb. Over 200 people were riding the commuter train when it slammed head-on into the oncoming train. As of now, 25 people are dead as a result of the collision and over 130 are injured. 45 of the injured are considered in critical condition, and over 40 were flown to local area hospitals for urgent care. Another 40 people were treated at the site of the crash, but were later taken to hospital for treatment, and approximately 50 were able to walk away with minor physical injuries.

If you or a loved one were involved in the deadly head-on Chatsworth collision, you are entitled to monetary compensation for your physical injuries and emotional trauma, or in the worst case scenario, for wrongful death. This was a tragic accident that need not have happened since Metrolink has admitted that human error was the cause.
